2026 Can American Club Crew Championships
Phoenix Heat Canoe Club is officially on the road to Montreal for the 2026 Can American Club Crew Championships, happening July 17–20 at the Olympic Basin in Parc Jean-Drapeau. With 200m, 500m, and 2000m racing on deck, this will be one of the biggest tests of the season.
Phoenix Heat is Arizona’s high-performance paddling club, built for athletes who want to train smarter, paddle stronger, and race faster. We’ve put in the work on Tempe Town Lake, and now it’s time to bring that fire to the international stage.

Long beach Dragon Boat Festival
Phoenix Heat is heading back to Long Beach! 🔥
On Saturday, July 25, 2026, Phoenix Heat Canoe Club will be racing at the Long Beach Dragon Boat Festival at Marine Stadium in Long Beach, California. This is one of the largest dragon boat competitions in California, and we know the competition is going to show up strong.
We’ve been to Long Beach before. We know the water, we know the atmosphere, and we know this race will demand everything from us.
The goal is simple: show up prepared, battle every meter, and fight for gold.
Every practice matters from here. Every seat matters. Every paddler matters. Long Beach will not be easy, and that’s exactly why we’re going.

Next stop: San Diego. Phoenix Heat Canoe Club is gearing up for the 15th Annual San Diego International Dragon Boat Race, happening September 26–27, 2026. We’re excited to race in one of the sport’s most iconic West Coast events and test ourselves against strong crews in an unforgettable setting.
