Phoenix Heat Canoe Club is heading to San Diego for the 32nd Annual Hanohano Ocean Challenge! Held on the beautiful waters of Mission Bay, this iconic event is one of North America's longest-running paddlesport competitions, bringing together outrigger canoe paddlers, surfskis, kayaks, and paddleboarders from across the region.

Our Phoenix Heat paddlers will put their OC1 training to the test, challenging themselves against experienced competitors while building the endurance, technique, and mental toughness that translate directly to stronger dragon boat performance.

We're excited to represent Arizona's outrigger paddling community and kick off the 2027 racing season with great competition and plenty of aloha!
